In Barcelona taxi licences are very expensive, being a taxi-driver is not a job that new arrivals (immigrants) get as in some other countries and I rather doubt that many people who have lost other jobs are driving taxis (it seems to be a job for life)

Empresa Plana also services this route 4 times a day. Train operators. Take the RENFE train that runs twice an hour from Barcelona Sants to Reus train station. From here you can take bus number 50 to Reus Airport or take a taxi (€20.00). Journey time: Over 2 hours. Single ticket : €3.00 (bus 50) + €9.55 (train) = €12.55. Return ticket : €6.00 (bus 50) + €19.10 (train) = €25.10. Subway . There is no subway station in the Barcelona cruise port: you’ll have to get in town to use it. The closest subway station is called Drassanes, in the L3 line (green). It’ll ride you all along la Rambla and Passeig de Grà cia, and if you are ready for a walk uphill, the Vallcarca station it’s a 20min. walk to the Park Güell.
